Team Co-Ordinators are an integral part of the team to which they are attached, they are expected to work closely with the Area Managers and other staff to ensure the delivery of a high quality service. Team Co-Ordinators are office based and required to undertake the mainly electronic administrative tasks which underpin the delivery of good quality domiciliary care so attention to detail is paramount.
1 Process referrals for Care Services and arrange replacement service for clients when Domiciliary Care Staff are on sick, annual or any other type of leave.
2 Make and receive telephone calls and take appropriate action. This involves principally contact with Domiciliary Care Staff, clients and purchasers with regard to service delivery arrangements.
3 Accurate and clear notification to Domiciliary Care Staff, by telephone or in writing of the service they are to provide to clients. Responsible for preparing, checking and circulation of community care rotas.
4 Undertake work allocated from Domiciliary Area Managers.
1 year’s suitable/relevant experience within the last 5 years.
Experience in the use of computers, including word processing and data entry.
Have a minimum of 5 GCSE/’O’ levels (Grades A – C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent and 1 years’ experience or
NVQ Level 2 Administration and Clerical or equivalent
Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post
